New Roots Herbal s Matcha Green Tea is shade-grown and hand-harvested. Unlike traditional green tea, its luminous green colour as well as its creamy taste and texture are the result of a subtle steaming of the entire leaf prior to being stone-ground.

New Roots Herbal s Matcha Green Tea has an exquisite, savoury taste that the Japanese refer to as the fifth flavour (after salty, sweet, sour, and bitter). It can be prepared by adding 1 teaspoon to a cup of hot water, or incorporated into shakes, lattes, smoothies, and baked goods.

Preparation: Mix 1 teaspoon in a cup of hot water. Adjust to taste.
