The skeleton of sharks is almost entirely comprised of cartilage. Shark fins, considered a delicacy in Asian countries, are consumed because of their purported ability to promote health, retard aging, and prevent disease.

Shark cartilage is used by your body as raw material to construct new ligaments.

Adults: Take 2 5 capsules daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner. If you are taking other medications, take this product a few hours before or after them.

Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 1 month.

Other ingredients: Vegetable magnesium stearate in a non-?GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.

Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, corn, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.

Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you are taking calcium supplements or blood thinners; if you experience bone pain; if you have a liver dysfunction; or if you have recently had a heart attack, surgery, or a major accident.

Known adverse reactions: Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) to shark cartilage or any of its ingredients, including glucosamine and chondroitin, have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Some people may experience gastrointestinal disturbances (e.g. bloating, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, constipation, etc.); in which case, discontinue use.
